March Favourites '15

March Favourites

I'm so happy that so many of you guys loved and appreciated my Spring Wardrobe Series. I will try to plan more such, different than the routine posts for future but right now I am going through a very stressful time as this is my midterm exams week. Gutted that I won't be attending Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week as a result but do watch out for a round-up and my thoughts about the whole TFPW this time, on the coming weekend. Anyway, I contemplated doing the monthly favourites for March as I feel I did already cover my current makeup items in my spring series but sticking to the "resolution" and in order to share a couple other bits and bobs, here is the post for you.

Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week Fever

Remember the time when I attended my first Autumn/Winter Fashion Pakistan Week last November? Well, I was ten times more excited to attend the Spring/Summer show this March/April but what a bummer that my mid-term exams got delayed to the same week as TFPW. Nonetheless, I have already addressed this on my social media that I will still be doing a round up on my blog next weekend so you guys have nothing to worry about! ;)

Orglow Face Brightening Mask Review

Orglow Mask Review
Orglow Face Brightening Mask - 1000 PKR*
Before we begin, embed it in your brains that nothing happens overnight and when the word 'organic' is attached, the results are never drastic but at the same time they won't harm you either unlike chemical-laden products. I had been wanting to write this review for months now, but before I put anything out there, rather than just landing on the bandwagon, I wanted to be sure about Orglow Face Brightening Mask by Salina Cosmetics. This product came out last year I believe or at least twenty-fourteen was the year when you were seeing it on every local blog one after the other. Just like everybody else I was also intrigued and it's always good to see our own people bringing out new beauty ranges. Now I have been testing this mask for quite a while. There have been days when I was more regular and there have been days when I switched things up, so hopefully this review will help you a lot better in deciding whether you should get it or not.

My Spring Fragrance Wardrobe | Spring Series Part 3

Spring Fragrances

Here is the third and final part of my Spring Wardrobe Series and I had so much fun in doing these as they turned out to be a bit different than my usual posts and I am happy with my blog's content this year. :) So, in today's post I am sharing with you guys some of my favourite spring fragrances that I currently have. I am a massive perfume lover and in fact putting on a scent is my favourite bit of getting ready.

My Spring Nail Polish Wardrobe and 2 Nail Art Ideas | Spring Series Part 2

My Spring Nail Polish Wardrobe

Welcome to my second edition of Spring Series! ^_^ I'm overjoyed by the response my Spring Makeup Wardrobe got and I would like to thank you all for appreciating. So, in today's post I'm sharing a few of my spring nail polish picks along with two easy nail art ideas. I had planned do three originally, but my unforgiving schedule didn't allow me to and I did not want to delay this post any longer.

My Spring Makeup Wardrobe | Spring Series Part 1

My Spring Makeup Wardrobe

Spring is my favourite time of the year because of the pleasant weather, blooming flowers, fluttering butterflies and the list goes on. The word spring instantly brings 'colours' in my mind and to celebrate the livelihood of this season, I wanted to do a mini spring series on my blog. I have seen bloggers including Magpie Jasmine doing such 'wardrobe' posts in the past and that is where I got my inspiration. So, rather than doing just a single post, I am extending it to three categories. They have nothing to do with actual clothing, rather some of my beauty and makeup bits which I find spring appropriate.

Fashionista Apocalypse at Claire's Launch | Karachi

Claire's Clutches

Claire's, the chicest accessory brand, launched in Karachi last night at Dolmen Mall Clifton  and maaaynn since it was open for public, the turnout was massive. The event started with a few speeches, followed by a kids fashion show and refreshments for all. Then it reached its final stage, which was the ginormous fashionista apocalypse, with the ribbon cutting ceremony, where everybody wanted to get inside all at once and all those uncles trying to squeeze in too were quite humor inducing. Luckily, us bloggers got a chance to sneak in before the opening to check out everything in there without the enthusiastic crowd around us and here is what my camera managed to capture for you babes.

Gul Ahmed Summer Collection (Premium) 2015 Haul

Gul Ahmed Summer Collection 2015 Haul

Let me just put it out there, I am not at all an impulse buyer and I wouldn't even have started my summer shopping yet if my mom wouldn't have urged me to break the bank beginning with Gul Ahmed this year. Mind you, neither is my mom a shopaholic but that Gul Ahmed magazine that they drop in some areas before the launch, came through our gate one afternoon and got her, talk about marketing tactic done right! So, we didn't even go to the shop the day Gul Ahmed's Summer Collection launched nationwide, rather ordered over the phone through our awesome relatives and there came our huge bag last Friday.

MAC Crosswires Review and Swatches

MAC Crosswires Review and Swatches

Crosswires was my first ever MAC lipstick, bought as a result of my coral obsession back in the day. However, for a very long time after getting this, I still remained a shy lipstick wearer and did not get enough wear out of this. With the advent of spring (though Karachi still needs to decide what it really is!), my love for crosswires rekindled.

What's In My Bag? | Ideally!

What's in my bag?

Sweet Kirstie from Kimamely Beauty tagged me to do What's In My Bag?, and it's a bit different. Usually, people just show everything that they have in their bags but this tag comes with a set of questions. So, I will be answering all the questions but in addition to that, I will show you everything else in my bag. Now, you must be wondering what's up with that 'Ideally!', well as a matter of fact, I do not have a habit of carrying pretty much anything at all, even my phone when I am going out with my family in particular. I will always have a watch on me but never a purse. Therefore, my bag tag characterizes an 'ideal situation'. Get it? Oh well, I have studied too much science in this lifetime. Anyways, these are the things I would like to carry if I was going out on my own for a duration as long as a day.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner Review

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner Review

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner was featured in my February Favourites where I had asked if you guys would like me to review it and since so many of you told me to, here it is. Dove has always been my absolute favourite conditioner brand because it has always made me actually touch my hair over and over as they claim. Now, I don't know about you, but I am a bit of a rebel so I don't always use complementary shampoo and conditioner pairs but I know what a good conditioner feels like and this was it.
