Time defeats all, in every possible way. I know it sounds cliched, but this year seems like has gone by the fastest ever. Already bidding September farewell, and eager for the month of Halloween, I present before you, my September Favourites. As quickly as I gained momentum with blog posts in August, I lost it soon enough in September, nonetheless I tried achieving my goal of at least ten posts a month. I had been so occupied with university work and social life during the month that I hardly got any time to use enough makeup products or enjoy anything else altogether so there are only a few things that I actually have for you to see this time.

Jabeen Qadri, the blogger behind Jaybee's Journal and the girl I can most relate to when it comes to skin care, recently started her own small business of the cutely hand painted false nails, called Bed of Nails, on Facebook. Now, to be honest, I have been stalking her page and Instagram back and forth for I absolutely love her creativity. Jabeen is talented and innovative and that is what you can instantly tell once you see her blog and work. I am somebody who doesn't like to grow nails out even 0.0000001 mm long just because I get annoyed by them too easily. Though, on most people I adore long nails and therefore falsies are what I can do every once in a while.
After the St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub, I wanted to try something different from their range and ended up picking this interesting sounding St. Ives Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub. Heads up, I am a reptile for the most part of the year so I love me a good scrub and in fact, I am kind of a scrub hoarder. So I got this scrub because how often do you even hear Pink Lemon? At least, I never had before and the citrusy combo seemed quite appealing to me. But how did it fare for its 'Even and Bright' claims? You will soon (and by soon, I mean soon, since we won't linger) find out.
Judging by the title, you know this is going to be a lifestyle post, and no I won't tell you that my life is as always doused in assignments, quizzes, projects, presentations, and exams. Instead, let's talk about Nutella paratha, reading challenge, songs and more.
Facebook gets me the most amount of traffic and I am so truly grateful to everybody who reads my blog and interacts with me. The 2k likes giveaway has been long due but since I recently hit 3k, it was only just to do a 2-in-1 giveaway, so here it is!
There are two prizes and there will be two winners! Prize #1 is a Surprise Beauty Box from my side and Prize #2 is the gorgeous MUA Glamour Days Palette generously sponsored by just4girls.pk.

Welcoming my Sweet September Advertisers on the blog! I am sure you have been already seeing them on my social media and now is a great time to officially introduce all of them to you! New on the board we have Gul Zehra and Ayesha, both of these lovelies are budding bloggers and I am glad they are quickly getting a hang of the blogosphere. On the other hand, like I mentioned in my August Advertisers post, Fatima and Kanwal are continuing this month and I expect you all to be kind to them once again by visiting their blogs too.
My eyes tell the most terrible night tales and even though I try hard to catch up on sleep, it is just not as easy to get rid of the dark circles. I have previously tried stick/cream concealers but haven't ever been much of a fan. Just like my preference in foundations is liquid, turns out the same is true for concealers too. I bought this Maybelline Fit Me concealer in particular because I have been longing for NARS creamy concealer but since it is not available in Pakistan, I had to settle for Maybelline as both are compared a lot.
I have always adored that Rapunzel hair and I can recall myself wrapping a long dupatta around my head to pretend as if I had super long hair when I was as little as four. My parents, on the other hand, back then were very conscious about the health of my hair and in order to keep them manageable for me, I had to walk around with either a boy cut or a mini bob all throughout my childhood. In fact, I used to get my head shaved until 2nd grade which means I was six at that time. Obviously, all of that was very heartbreaking for me but I am grateful to my parents for all the care they have taken of me till date.
I have had Twitter since even before I got Facebook as far as I can recall. I admit, as a beginner it was a tough cookie and back in the day it was much much harder to figure out since nobody I knew was on it. It took me 3 years to actually use it and that was the time when I made this blog. However, it was only last year that I actually upped my networking game and around this time of the year, or maybe even a little late, I started participating in Twitter chats. I knew they existed, but I wasn't really into them until I saw Noor Unnahar, who is my lovely friend from Noor's Place blog, hosting her own Twitter chat called #socialbloggers one fine Saturday night. I enjoyed the session she held so much that I started chatting more frequently with other bloggers. That chat was also the reason why we got closer and this is how I found her twin, Areeba Siddique, too who blogs at Not Your Type blog. So, I chatted a lot all throughout the second half of 2014 and this made so much of a difference in my blog traffic, plus I made some more international blogger friends too.
