This collaboration has been in the pipeline for ages and it is something I have been looking forward to the most since the beginning of my semester break. Isobel and Marian, from the Original Minds, suggested we should together come up with makeup looks that go with our complexions as we all fall in different skin tone categories, and that sounded like a great idea. You can see complete details of our looks on their blog by clicking here. Don't we look bomb? ;)

I am a beliver even if imperfect, but that does not mean I do not want to perfect my belief. Such is the case of choosing the right makeup products. With the spike in social awareness, a lot of us have been striving to turn to makeup products that are organic and cruelty free. The brands that aren't atleast organic outweigh the ones that are so discovering brands that can provide the former competition is always something I find pleasing. PHB is one such brand, based in UK, that takes pride in being vegan, cruelty-free and in addition to that is certified halal, which is something every Muslim would appreciate. Thanks to Halal Certified Cosmetics Pakistan on Facebook for bringing PHB to Pakistan and through them I got to try out some of PHB's mineral makeup.

Baking, also called cooking, is a makeup technique, that I first found out watching Nicole Guerriero on Youtube a few months back. Apparently, this is a trick that was initiated by drag makeup gurus. If you are wondering what "drag" is, think about well-defined brows, full blown eyelashes, dark contour and everything along the lines. In short, dramatic makeup, evil queen style! Over the past year, baking has become popular amongst other makeup artists and beauty gurus too and I see why.
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer was one highlighter that had actually made my heart flutter when it took over the internet. One after the other, several leading gurus raved about it and it surely seemed magical in everybody's tutorial. I wanted to exude that ethereal radiance too so I decided I had to have it. Soon, this became the first product I ever bought with my own earned money as a birthday treat to myself but was it worth the hype? Let's see.

While, the Holy One Deal has a 13-inch pizza along with 6 chicken wings, two 0.5-litre drinks and 2 sauces for 999 PKR.
Once again, I am happy to present you, my monthly advertisers! Both the ladies, who have chosen to advertise with me this July are friendly with a sense of humour. Seemal is a budding blogger and I see immense potential in her work. While Shumaila is a sweetheart and keeps her blog updated with latest makeup reviews, you already know her as she had advertised with me in March too.
