Fall Lipsticks
L-R: Masarrat Misbah Dahlia, MNY Berry Much, Shades by GAL Boysenberry, MAC Chili, Milani Uptown Mauve
Neons, in the face pinks and all such shades are pretty, pretty for summer time, pretty for pretty girls, but I love me some muted, dusky, deep shades. Honestly, I would be more comfortable in wearing a black lipstick in comparison to a bubblegum pink, given any time of the year. That is just how I feel lipsticks work for me at the moment so I am constantly gravitating towards mauvy pinks and deep reds. Now, I feel almost all nude lip shades I own can pass for fall time and therefore I have included none in this post. I mean I wear them all year round, rather than specifically in autumn/winter, so when it is really fall, I like to wear darker shades. I really really really hate winters but these lipsticks keep me going and maybe even liking it a little bit. So, here are my top five fall lip shades!

For the newly launched Black Musk fragrance, The Body Shop Pakistan held a fun Black Musk Hunt for Karachi bloggers at Dolmen Mall, Clifton on the 21st of November. We had to look for three of key ingredients; Bambinella Pear, Liquorice and Black Vanilla all across the mall and the winning team got amazing gift hampers. I had a memorable time with my fellows and it was one of the best events I have attended so far because I feel I got to bond better with my blogging buddies. As a result, I got the chance of trying out The Body Shop Black Musk Eau De Parfum as well.

Walking in for the first time, no matter whom you want to divert your attention to, the setting always seeps into your conciousness. It is knitted together by details so fine that the panorama itself is unavoidable. No matter how tall or tiny your canvas is, if you get the right palette, you might just as well be Pablo Picasso.

Many a times, people feel intimidated by bold lip colours, especially when they are not used to of seeing them on. Prior to blogging, I was no different. I remember seeing a photo of Gwen Stefani back in the day in red lipstick that I thought was a bad choice until much later when I fell head over heels in love with the same photo. One of my makeup goals for the year was to try a purple lipstick since reds and pinks are still acceptable but purple requires a whole new comfort level.

I think my obsession begin when I saw a beautiful green eyed blogger review MAC's Heroine. Never before I had seen anybody pull a purple lipstick off so well. However, I just did not know where to begin with a shade that would suit me until I had a chance of looking at Just4Girls' new in stocks. Milani is one brand that I have heard people rave about endlessly because of its affordability and quality. I jumped at the chance of reviewing one of their Color Statement lipsticks because along with their blushes, the lipsticks have been very popular with beauty gurus.

Fashion Pakistan Week Winter Festive '15

Shehla Chatoor All The Raj

Fashion Pakistan Week got much delayed this season, however, when it finally happened, it sweeped us off our feet. The theme was Winter Festive, and we saw a great incorporation of colours and heavy embroidery in most collections. On the whole, most designers opted for bridal pret, yet there were a couple collections that stood out, as my favourites did it differently.
